What are the plans?

How are they different?

Our new plans are built specifically for our RMVT customers and reflect the way business is done in that industry. Each plan has a rate card that reflects different monthly transaction volumes and our Basic and Premium plans have an included value bundle with free VIRs.

Please note that each invoiced account must be on its own separate plan.

Can I change my plan?

Yes, through the self service function on the MotorWeb portal. If you update your plan by the 25th of the current month, you can change your plan to a higher tier immediately. Changing to a lower tier plan will always apply from the 1st of the following month.

I'm an infrequent user, do I have to be on a plan?

In order to access the MotorWeb services you’ll need to be on a plan. This modest monthly fee helps to cover the operational and maintenance costs associated with your account.

What if I don't have any transactions in a month?

You’ll only be charged the monthly subscription fee.

Can you help me select the best plan?

Has the price of VIR a re-check changed?

YES. VIR re-checks are now treated the same as a standard VIR and can be used within your included value bundle. All VIRs that fall outside your bundle quota will be charged at your rate-card rate.

Can I share my plan and free VIRs?

Yes, it’s possible for a parent billing account to share its plan and free VIRs with child accounts. This can get a bit complex so please give us a call to discuss.

 

Changing Your Plan

What are the conditions around a plan change?

Provided you update your plan by the 25th of the current month, you can change your plan to a higher tier immediately. Changing to a lower tier plan will always apply from the 1st of the following month.

How do I change my plan?

This is a restricted feature and only your nominated Administrator can change the plan. They will do this via the User Management menu option available in their profile dropdown list on the MotorWeb portal. Then find the account whose plan you want to change, click on account's drop down box and select Manage Plan

 

Included Value Bundle

Can I carry over my unused VIRs to the following month?

It is not possible to carry over your unused VIRs

What happens if I use more VIRs than are available in my bundle?

You’ll be charged for out of bundle VIRs at the “Price per additional report” rate (e.g. if your plan includes a bundle of 5 VIRs, you’ll be charged from the 6th VIR at the $13.95 rate).

What happens to my bundle of VIRs if I change my plan during the month?

Your total VIRs will be tallied up at the end of the month and you will only be charged for the VIRs outside of your plan bundle. For example if (by the 25th of the month) you change from a plan with a 5 VIR bundle to one with 25 VIRs, you’ll only be charged from the 26th VIR.

How can I tell how many free VIRs I’ve used?

Via the MotorWeb Portal, select the Audit Transactions menu option. Select the options This Month, Totals Only and the account that has the pricing plan. Then press the View History button to view how many VIRs have been generated in the month.
